AT Overland Shipping Policies and Return Procedures

At AT Overland, we prioritize delivering your products safely and promptly while ensuring a straightforward return process if needed.


Shipping Methods

  • Ground Shipping: We use UPS, FedEx, and USPS for domestic and international deliveries. High-value shipments may require a signature upon delivery. Orders placed by 10:00 a.m. Arizona time typically ship the same day; later orders ship the next business day (excluding some holidays).
  • Truck Freight: Larger items, such as rooftop tents or roof racks, ship via truck freight to a terminal, business, or residence. For residential deliveries of items over 100 lbs., a liftgate may be required (approx. $125 fee). Ensure help is available for unloading if opting out of a liftgate.

All shipments are insured against loss or damage. If an issue arises, follow the steps outlined below.


Damage Reporting

For All Shipments

  1. Inspect the package and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork.
  2. Photograph the packaging and contents if damage is visible.
  3. Document any missing items.
  4. Contact AT Overland immediately to report the damage.

For Severe Damage

  • Refuse delivery and notify AT Overland promptly.

For Concealed Damage

  • Report the issue within 14 days of delivery.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Process

To initiate a return, complete the RMA request form below. Approval is required before returning any item, and an RMA# will be issued.

  • All Returns:
    • Include the RMA# on all paperwork and clearly label the package.
    • A copy of the accepted RMA request will be emailed to you. Please include this form inside the box.
    • Unauthorized returns will not be accepted, and shipping fees will not be reimbursed.
  • Non-Warranty Returns:
    • Must be requested within 90 days of delivery.
    • Items must be returned in new condition, with original packaging and materials.
    • A 10% restocking fee and 4% credit card processing fee may apply.
    • A return shipping label will not be provided and shipping fees will not be reimbursed.
    • Special order items are non-returnable unless defective or damaged during shipping.
    • Refunds will deduct costs for missing or damaged components, cleaning, or repairs.
  • Returns Due to Shipping Damage:
    • Report damage within 14 days of delivery.
    • A request for photos of the product damage, shipping label, and packaging for claims will be sent shortly after submitting the RMA request along with a pre-paid shipping label.
  • Returns Due to Incorrect Items Shipped:
    • Report damage within 14 days of delivery.
    • A request for photos of the incorrect product, shipping label, and packaging for claims will be sent shortly after submitting the RMA request along with a pre-paid shipping label.
    • Returns for ordering the wrong item will incur return shipping costs plus a 10% restocking fee and 4% credit card processing fee.
  • Returns Due to Warranty:
    • Report damage within warranty range.
    • A request for photos of the product for claims will be sent shortly after submitting the RMA request along with a pre-paid shipping label when applicable.
  • Third-Party Warranty Claims:
    • AT Overland Equipment does not process warranty claims for third-party products. For any warranty-related issues with items manufactured by third-party brands, customers must contact the manufacturer directly. We recommend reviewing the manufacturer’s warranty policies for specific guidance and support.

Important Notes on Returns

  • Items not covered by warranty that are installed, used, or beyond the 90-day return window are not eligible for refunds.
  • Returns must be shipped back within 14 days of receiving the return label.
  • Returns for ordering the wrong item will incur return shipping costs plus a 10% restocking fee and 3% credit card processing fee.
